Melinda graduated from the 3000-hour massage therapy program at Makami College in 2018. She is an active member of the Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association. Melinda is passionate about injury rehabilitation and working closely with each client to deliver tailored treatments. She uses a variety of Deep Tissue and Sport Massage techniques such as Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Cupping, PNF Stretching and Joint Play. Her style is focused on deep, slow therapeutic pressure. She particularly enjoys working with athletes and helping clients return to an active lifestyle.
Outside of work, Melinda travels and competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments all over the world.
Zac has been a massage therapist since 2005, graduating from KineConcept Institute in Ottawa, Ontario. He was originally with The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, but upon his move to Calgary in 2009, he became a proud member of The Massage Therapist Association of Alberta.
Zac specializes in offering individualized care to clients with differing musculoskeletal issues. He is trained in a wide variety of techniques including Neuromuscular therapy, Myofacial release, Trigger point therapy, Deep tissue massage, and Swedish massage. Continuing education is important to Zac, and he intends to add various techniques to his repertoire.
In his free time, Zac lives an active lifestyle weightlifting, playing baseball, basketball and competing in the Firefit Combat Challenge. He also serves his community as a Firefighter for the City of Calgary.
Montessa attended Makami College where she completed 3000-hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy diploma and attended a Sports Clinic for her practicum. She specializes in Spa Treatments, Deep Tissue, Cupping and Lymphatic Drainage, with knowledge in Myofascial Release, Therapeutic and Sports Massage. Her personal approach to Massage Therapy is tailored to every client's own specific needs and addressing the root of the pain. She aims to help people ease their pain and live their best active life. Tessa believes that massage not only improves your body but also your mind. She is keen to improve her skills, knowledge and techniques by continuing education to advance herself for the benefit of her patients.
When not in the clinic, you can find her at the gym, mountains or on the other side of the world, traveling.
Kai is a recent alumnus of the 3000-hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program at Makami College. He is dedicated to rehabilitation and injury prevention within his practice. Proficient across a spectrum of modalities including deep tissue manipulation, sports massage, cupping therapy, hot stone application, and muscle mobility stretching. Kai also has a Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia giving him a better understanding of how the body functions.
Having transplanted himself from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Kai leverages his athletic background in hockey, lacrosse, surfing, and rugby to enrich his therapeutic methodology and foster well-being among his clients.
In addition to his extensive training and athletic background, Kai's personal dedication to fitness through regular workouts further enhances his understanding of the body and its needs. This commitment undoubtedly contributes to his ability to provide effective and comprehensive massage therapy services to his clients.
